The Physical Education program provides an opportunity for the optimal physical and emotional development of an individual. It is an integral part of the educational program and provides another discipline in which a person can become fully educated. This discipline augments other disciplines in attempting to develop young people with integrated personalities capable of functioning at a high level of efficiency in work, recreation, and everyday activities.
The Health Education program provides learning opportunities that motivate and educate students to protect, maintain, and improve their own health and that of others. These learning strategies are based on the best available scientific knowledge covering a broad range of relevant health concepts and are designed, selected, and conducted in accordance with the needs, interests, and maturity levels of the individual students and with the needs of the community at large.
