Graphic: The National Honor Society logoThe Pascack Valley Regional High School District is proud to announce that 189 of our students are 2018 inductees into the National Honor Society (NHS).  Pascack Valley High School held their ceremony on April 11, where 92 students were formally inducted and their new officers were installed.  Pascack Hills High School will have their induction ceremony on April 25, where 87 students will be honored for this outstanding acheivement.

The NHS is a group of model junior and senior students who are involved in community service, fundraising and academic services directed towards the betterment of their community as well as surrounding towns.  NHS students provide academic support for their classmates through drop-in tutoring sessions during the Pascack Period as well as during private sessions as well.

In order to apply, juniors must have a 3.7+ GPA in the middle of their junior year, 30+ hours of documented community service, and be rated by staff as having upstanding character both in and out of the classroom.

We are proud of the accomplishments and character of all our NHS students throughout the district.  We are also grateful for the time and effort Ms. Margaret White (NHS advisor, Pascack Hills) and Ms. Valerie Santo (NHS advisor, Pascack Valley) dedicate to the students who comprise of their respective NHS chapters.
