PVHS Environmental Club Held Toy Drive to Benefit Second Chance Toys

Last month, the Pascack Valley High School Environmental Club held a Second Chance Toy Drive to collect gently used plastic toys to donate to Greater Bergen Community Action Head Start in Bergenfield for the holiday season. The idea for the drive is to promote reusing of materials and toys while providing some joy and entertainment to needy children during the holidays. Through the overwhelming response from students and staff, the club was able to collect more than 150 toys to donate!

Second Chance Toys facilitates donating toys to children in need thereby keeping them out of landfills. For more information about Second Chance Toys, visit www.secondchancetoys.org.

PVHS Science teachers Ms. Kristen Lindstrom and Mrs. Michela Piccoline serve as the Environmental Club advisors.
