The Pascack Valley Regional High School District
The goal of the Mathematics Department is to facilitate the construction of meaningful mathematical knowledge and skills, with the ultimate goal of promoting the personal and professional growth of each student.
The curriculum is designed to meet and exceed the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Mathematics, as students will have opportunities to take courses such as Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, and Computer Science, as well as the required courses of Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. Each of these courses will emphasize conceptual understanding as well as procedural fluency.
The mathematics department is committed to using technology to enhance instruction and help students engage with mathematics in the 21st century.
