Ninety 12th grade students from both Pascack Hills and Pascack Valley High School will earn the NJ Department of Education Seal of Biliteracy for their linguistic proficiency in multiple languages.

This year, our students demonstrated a high level of proficiency in Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian and/or Spanish! Also, these students are newly eligible for the Global Seal of Biliteracy. This new accreditation offers a competitive advantage for our students and can be linked to earning college credit. Students should add these accomplishments to their resumes and transcripts as linguistic achievements.

We were able to recognize this accomplishment at the Celebrate Languages ceremonies in both Pascack Hills and Pascack Valley High Schools and look forward to distributing recognition certificates for both the NJ DOE Seal of Biliteracy and Global Seal of Biliteracy in the late spring!
