Pascack Valley High School Theatre is proud to present Chicago Teen Edition on March 16, 17, 18 at 7pm, with a Saturday 3/18 matinee at 1pm. Chicago Teen Edition is directed by Tom Lupfer and Merielle Lupfer; with music direction by Gayle Fuentes, choreography by Merielle Lupfer, Kelsey McGrail, and Francesca Silvano; scenic design by Patrick Brennan; lighting design by Matthew Weisgable; sound design by Jonathan Melchiorre; and costume design by Merielle Lupfer. The cast includes 24 Pascack Valley HS students, with a crew of thirty-seven.
Chicago Teen Edition is a musical extravaganza that is sure to wow audiences of all ages. Set in the roaring 1920s, Chicago Teen Edition tells the story of Roxie Hart (senior Kelly Donlan of Hillsdale) and Velma Kelly (senior Meghan Roberts of River Vale), two women who are imprisoned for murder and must fight for their freedom. With music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, the musical features a book and original direction from Bob Fosse, whose inimitable dance style is infused into the choreography and staging of this production. With high-energy dance numbers, catchy songs, and unforgettable characters, Chicago Teen Edition promises to be an unforgettable experience for everyone who sees it.
Chicago Teen Edition will be performed at Pascack Valley High School, located at 200 Piermont Ave. in Hillsdale, with performances Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings (March 16, 17, 18) at 7pm,  as well as Saturday afternoon at 1pm.  Tickets are available now and can be purchased at www.pvhstheatre.org, or at the door, one hour prior to curtain.
A FREE senior citizens performance will be held on Monday, March 13, at 9:30am. Reservations are not required– all are welcome.
