CSPA’s Silver Crown Award recognizes Echoes Spring 2023 edition, Surreal, for which the theme explores writing and art submissions “free from the confines of routine and that embrace the magic in our imaginations” (Surreal 2023). CSPA’s critique of Surreal declares, “The staff of Echoes from Pascack Hills High School clearly understands the connections between human beings and the art that they make” (CSPA 2024). In addition, Surreal has been recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English, REALM, Superior, January 2024, and the American Scholastic Press Association, First Place Award, also January 2024.

Congratulations to our 2022-2023 Echoes Staff for these special achievements: Lydia Edelshain, ’23; Sophie Edelshain, ’23, Stephanie Ye, ’23, Giuliana Balboni, ’23; Tala Atkinson, ’23; Anna Stieglitz, ’24, Zack Ben, ’25, Derek Geier, ’24, and Kaitlyn Verde, ‘24.
