PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, in accordance with P.L.2025, c.72, effective March 1, 2026, the full text of every legal notice for the Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education will be available to the public on the official website www.pascack.org. Each notice will be posted for a minimum of seven (7) consecutive days and will then be accessible in an online archive for at least one (1) year.

Superintendent of Schools Search Consultant
The Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education (the “Board”) seeks the services of a consultant to assist with the selection of a new Superintendent of Schools. The Pascack Valley Public Schools are a comprehensive Ninth through Twelfth grade school district serving students from the Boroughs of Woodcliff Lake, Montvale, Hillsdale, and River Vale in Bergen County, New Jersey. The District’s two (2) schools have an approximate enrollment of 1675 students, 204 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis) and a total of 333 staff members.
The Superintendent’s position will be vacant on May 1, 2027. The Board would like to appoint a permanent superintendent to begin on May 1, 2027. The Board may appoint an interim superintendent through July 1, 2027, if necessary. Additional information about the District is available online at https://www.pascack.org/
Public Notice is herein served that an Executive Meeting of the Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Pascack Hills High School Media Center, 225 West Grand Avenue, Montvale, NJ to discuss the CSA evaluation. This meeting is closed to the public. Action may or may not be taken. The minutes of the Executive Session will be made available to the public when the need for confidentiality no longer exists.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education took action at its Regular Meeting on May 18, 2026, and awarded the following contract for professional services in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-5. The resolution and terms of their appointment are on file and available for public inspection at the Central Office located at 28 W. Grand Avenue, Suite 2, Montvale, New Jersey 07645 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

PASCACK VALLEY REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY INFORMATION
May 18, 2026 —The Pascack Valley Regional High School District has information available for citizens interested in running for the board of education.
The Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education will have four vacancies, one from Woodcliff Lake, one from Montvale, and two from Hillsdale, in the November 3, 2026, Annual School Election, Ms. Cynthia Kirk, Board Secretary and Business Administrator, announced today. A full term on the school board runs for three years.
A candidate must file a nominating petition with the county clerk for their name to appear on the ballot during the November Annual School Election. The deadline to submit the nominating petition is 4:00 p.m. July 27, 2026. The election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Prospective school board candidates can download candidate information from the New Jersey School Boards Association’s web site at NJSBA School Board Candidate Kit. The School Board Candidate Kit includes information about nominating petitions, legal qualifications for school board candidacy, and the role of the school board member. Information about the New Jersey School Ethics Act and important dates in the school election process are also included.
One of the most meaningful contributions that citizens can make to their community is serving on the local board of education,” said Michael Jacobs, New Jersey School Boards Association president. “I encourage all interested citizens to consider school board membership. School board elections are non-partisan and service does not require a background in education. However, it does require a sincere interest in the community, its children, and their education.”
