2022-2023 District Goals
1. Continue district’s 9-12 focus on “student wellness” and continue working with the K-8 sending districts on Regional Wellness Initiatives.
2. Continue student metrics, benchmarking, and data acquisition practices in each academic department that reflect the district’s philosophy on improving instruction in an effort to monitor and improve student understanding and achievement of N.J. Student Learning Standards.
3. Continue to improve upon the districts’ ability to prepare students for the skills they need to be successful in college and careers via “Real World Learning” and to continue the Civics Program for all students that promotes working to make a difference one’s community and de eloping the knowledge, skills, motivation,and values to make that difference.
4. Continue to advance the work of inclusivity and equity throughout the district.
2022-2023 Board Goals
1. Emphasizing input from all stakeholder groups, including students, staff, and parents, the Board will begin strategic planning through the “Portrait of a Graduate” process.
2. Aligned with the District’s vision to promote student and educator achievement through the development of skills needed to compete and collaborate as ethical and responsible global citizens, Board members will attend at least one educational professional development event during the 2022-2023 school year.
